Description: |
Roxborough Memorial Hospital is seeking a Telecommunication Associate. Candidate will answer incoming calls from customers and route them to the appropriate persons or department. Operator will receive calls from clinical departments and dispatch Patient Transport Associates to perform tasks as necessary.
Operator will dispatch room cleaning assignments to discharge unit cleaner(s) in a timely manner and record times as directed. Employee will maintain logs for keys, alarms, bodies, long distance calls, and after hours sign in/out sheets.
Employee will also be making announcements, scheduled and unscheduled. Must be able to sit for duration of shift. Must have a clear and calm speaking voice. Must be able to remain calm during stressful situations.
Shifts are per diem. |
Qualifications: |
Minimum high school degree or GED
Previous experience as an operator or customer service representative in a hotel, or hospital
setting is helpful. |
