Description: |
The Registered Nurse performs the primary functions of a professional nurse by utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, participate, implement and evaluate the nursing care for a designated group of patients. The Registered Nurse is responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice of Roxborough Hospital and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Registered Nurse serves as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. The Registered Nurse should promote teamwork with physicians and personnel from other departments and outside agencies. The registered nurse also directs and guides patient teaching and the activities of the health care team.
Shifts are S-S 7P-7A plus 1 WD shift; 72 hours biweekly. |
Qualifications: |
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
CCRN preferred.
IV certification; ACLS certification required.
Arrhythmia Course required.
Critical Care Course preferred.
Current CPR Certification required.
Current Registered Nurse License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. |
