You are: A talented interactive designer with a passion for Flash and a portfolio to prove it. You're also a visual junkie with mastery of both the bitmap and the vector world, who finds equal satisfaction in the "aha" moments as the "wow" moments. You thrive in team environments, and enjoy collaborating with other talented creatives. Our immediate needs require strong capabilities in Flash. A background in print media is a plus. Experience with 3-D development is a bigger plus. The incorporation of 3-D in Flash would be very exciting.

Duties: |
What the job entails:
- Design visual interfaces and content graphics to support custom training and interactive marketing/communications projects. Typical projects include Web-based training (eLearning), corporate presentations, and some print collateral.
- Design graphic user interfaces and user interactions that balance visual aesthetics and effective usability to maximize the user experience.
- Work collaboratively with instructional designers and courseware developers to bring courseware and marketing presentations to life.
- Interpret storyboards to tell visual stories that support learning.
This position requires strong personal management skills and the ability to participate on multiple projects at once, while prioritizing tasks based on business objectives. Candidates must also be able to manage change and to remain flexible with little notice to meet tight deadlines, and remain within budget. |
Qualifications: |
Requirements:
- 3+ years of design experience
- Graduate of college or art school with degree in graphic design, fine arts, or related field required; a BFA or MFA, a plus
- Extensive experience with Flash design and a demonstrated capability of illustration and animation development
- Proficient use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Fireworks, as well as general Office applications
- Must be able to provide a portfolio that includes multimedia and graphic design samples
