Description: |
| Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, assists and supports the Branch Manager with the overall daily operation of the office including overseeing/supervising branch staff and acting in the absence of the Manager to ensure prompt efficient customer service. |
Duties: |
• Supports management goals and objectives.
* Understands and interprets policies and procedures for the staff with respect to approving checks and overrides.
* Enforces audit compliance and conducts branch audits.
* Assists in development of business accounts and maintains customer and business relationships, opens and closes branch, orders and verifies cash shipments, balances and services ATM machine.
* Processes mortgage and consumer loan applications and closes consumer loans.
* Handles customer complaints, counsels customers.
* Supervises preparation and distribution of end-of-month branch reports, in addition to ensuring compliance of branch with CRA, EEO, and Bank Secrecy Act.
* Motivates and counsels staff regarding the cross-sell program.
* Oversees orientation of new employees and processes savings and teller work when necessary. |
Qualifications: |
• Possesses thorough knowledge of deposit products and services, also working knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending products.
• Strong sales background necessary.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of computers and security procedures.
• Supervisory experience required along with two to three years of banking experience.
* Associates degree or higher preferred.
* Must be federally registered as required by the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act). Will be required to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLSR). Must obtain and maintain a unique identifier number through the NMLSR. Must review and update all information as required by the NMLSR. Reliable transportation. |
