| Work as a supervisory charge nurse at The Highlands at Wyomissing, a premier continuing care retirement community on a Per Diem basis. |
Duties: |
| Assess the needs of residents initially and on an ongoing basis. Assume responsibility for participation in orientation, educational development evaluation and performance management of CNAs and LPNs on unit. Develop and maintain accurate and thorough records of resident care. Develop and maintain good communication skills. Utilize principles of safety and infection control in all aspects of the job. Assume responsibility for the unit, residents and staff in absence of Director of Nursing or the Director of Health Care Administration. |
Qualifications: |
| Successful applicants will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, possessing a Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
2-3 years of experience as a registered nurse in long term care is preferred. Charge nurse experience is a plus. |
