Description: |
Responsible for the application of pesticides and fertilizer to all areas of the golf course and its surrounding areas.
Candidate must perform routine maintenance and inspection of all spraying equipment.
Responsible for maintaining chemical storage and mixing areas in compliance with county, state, and federal regulations.
Candidate must be responsible for the safety and direction of chemical handlers. |
Duties: |
Safely operating and calibrating various pieces of spraying equipment.
Ensuring that the golf course and its surrounding areas are suitable for guest traffic.
Cleaning and maintaining all spraying equipment and the designated work area.
Reporting any damaged equipment to the appropriate manager or supervisor.
Maintaining accurate records of work performed and any problems involving equipment. |
Qualifications: |
Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
Candidate must have the ability to speak English fluently.
A valid driver's license is required.
Current state certification as a licensed pesticide applicator is required.
Candidate must have the ability to work varying shifts and days of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Position is available in spring of 2012.
