Description: | Tozour Energy Systems is looking for a BAS Design Engineer to work in our BAS Operations Department. Will report to the BAS Contracting Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position. Interviews starting now.
Works with: BAS Project Managers, BAS Systems Technicians, Sales Engineers, Sales Support Team, and customers
Job Summary: Responsible for the design and estimating phase of a project including programming and graphics. Determines the scope of projects, estimates cost, designs and documents controls systems, programs controls, creates graphics, and procures control components. Works directly on the project team to assist the Project Manager with project commissioning
| Duties: | •Responsible for design, installation and start up process for BAS projects.
•Creates and reviews equipment submittals.
•Selects and manages multiple subcontractors.
•Negotiates and orders required Trane equipment and outside purchases.
•Develops control programming and graphics for control systems.
•Assists field engineers as required with programming, terminations, check, graphic development, test and startup.
•Oversees design and layout of BAS projects.
•Reads and reviews drawings and blueprints.
•Provides technical support to the BAS technicians, when needed.
•Serves customers by answering inquires and responding to special requests.
•Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communication with staff, as needed, providing customer feedback.
•Administers BAS warranty service, as needed.
•Prioritizes workload and request to ensure customer and employee satisfaction are delivered.
•Other responsibilities as required.

| Qualifications: | Education and/or Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required. Experience in the HVAC industry highly preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, and programming required.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
