Description: |
| The Adventure Center Intern is responsible for facilitating daily programs in a variety of areas within the Recreation Department, including the ropes course, climbing wall, zip-line, mini-golf course, and disc golf course. This individual assists with special events, group programs, and corporate teambuilding activities, provides additional assistance at the Kidz Klub and Wildlife Academy as needed, and completes daily cash handling activities. In addition, the Adventure Center Intern is responsible for completing opening and closing procedures and supervising the outlets in the absence of a supervisor. |
Duties: |
Giving personal attention to guests in order to exceed their expectations.
Inspecting guest supplies and ordering products based on inventory levels.
Representing the Recreation Department on various safety and associate activity committees.
Facilitating daily programs in a variety of areas within the Recreation Department.
Providing assistance to other areas such as the Kidz Klub and Wildlife Academy based on business needs.
Assisting Recreation supervisors and managers with special programs and events.
Performing any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. |
Qualifications: |
High school diploma required.
Ability to work varying hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Previous experience in the recreation industry is preferred.
Must be enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Recreation Management or a related discipline.
Must have the ability to speak English fluently. |
