Description: |
| The Kidz Klub Intern is responsible for facilitating a variety of children’s regular and specialty programs including Kidz Klub, Little Tykes, Little Tykes Night Out, Kidz Night Out, and Kidz Kamp. This individual ensures that children are supervised at all times, assists with special events, and provides additional assistance at the Adventure Center and Wildlife Academy as needed. Additionally, the Kidz Klub Intern ensures that parents are informed of program activities and discusses any relevant behavioral issues with them in a timely manner. |
Duties: |
Facilitating numerous regular and specialty children’s programs.
Providing various activities for children including trips to the Hardy Girls Gym, the Wildside, and the Adventure Center.
Ensuring that children are under appropriate supervision at all times.
Discussing program activities and disciplinary issues with parents as needed.
Maintaining the child care rooms in order to ensure that they are clean and safe at all times.
Reporting any accidents or injuries to management and the Security Department in a timely manner.
Representing the Recreation Department on various safety and associate activity committees.
Informing supervisors or members of management when supplies or materials need to be replenished.
Performing any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. |
Qualifications: |
High school diploma required.
Ability to work varying hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Previous childcare experience is preferred.
Must be enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related discipline.
Must have the ability to speak English fluently. |
